Komfort is one of the first manufacturers to be certified with BS EN ISO 19650-2 BIM Standard!
As part of our continued commitment to improve standards in the built environment, we are delighted to be one of the first manufacturers to be certified with the new BS EN ISO 19650-2 and UK National Annex Standard.
This is an international standard for managing information over the whole life cycle of a built asset using BIM. This demonstrates our competence in delivering compliant and structured information, and our forward-thinking vision.
Some of the key benefits of the BS EN ISO 19650-2 and UK National Annex certification include:
- Establishes Komfort’s position as a collaborative supplier in large scale project tenders with nationally recognised digital competence
- Evidence of Komfort’s capabilities of managing information in accordance with the UK BIM Framework (previously BIM Level 2)
- Reduce risk and the possibility of contract penalties
- Reduce time and cost associated with responding to tenders
- Working collaboratively with clients and partners
- Demonstrate compliance with large organisations and the public sector
A competitive edge in a data-driven future
This is a great differentiator for Komfort, and not only will it drive our business forward in the construction industry, but we will also benefit from other efficiencies through better information management, reduced costs and risk and driving performance.
We have now laid the foundations for an improved method of information management that will enhance our ability to deliver projects to an exceptional standard to benefit our clients and partners.
An excellent achievement and one which will give Komfort Partitioning Limited the competitive edge in a data-driven future. A huge thank you to everyone involved in assisting in this exciting and successful journey and a special note to Matt Samways from AIMIS Digital Construction & BIM Consultants.
