A new construction and engineering training building in Luton features state-of-the-art, light-filled workshop spaces achieved with glazed screens. This design prioritised aesthetics and functionality, presenting acoustic and fire performance challenges, particularly with large access doors.

Komfort’s Defence EI 30 and EI 60 Fire Screens, installed in collaboration with Service Group Interiors, provided a high level of fire protection and acoustic performance, ensuring both safety and a productive learning environment. The project successfully balanced visual appeal with robust workshop requirements.
